Join us for an exciting Spring of STEM! Genius Gems is at the cutting edge of STEM, teaching students throughout the area for over 7 years. Our philosophy is that learning should be hands-on, engaging, and fun. We encourage students to ask questions and be inquisitive!
Classes begin on Monday April 6th, 2026. The last day of class is Friday, June 12th. Holidays and days off are listed below. They have already been factored into the schedule. Classes are held at 3:45-4:30 or 4:45-5:45 depending on the class. Content will differ from the previous semester, and all classes are open to new and continuing students.

Our full refund (minus a 10% processing fee) deadline is February 28, 2026. Between March 1st and March 15th, 2026, you can receive a 50% refund. No refunds or credits will be issued after March 15th, 2026. You must email us in writing for your request.
*to register for Coding 1 Plus students must either have completed a prior coding course or be in 2nd grade. 2nd graders with proficient laptop skills are encouraged to take Coding 2 instead.
Application Process & Philosophy
To make sure every child has a great experience, our drop-off programs now require a short application before registration. This helps us create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where all children can thrive.
Genius Gems has always been a warm and welcoming community. We have many neurodiverse children who love Genius Gems and are successful in our programs. We support children with a wide range of learning styles and needs. Our goal is never to exclude—it’s to be sure we can safely and successfully meet each child’s needs within our program structure and staffing, and if we need to add additional supports, we want to partner with you to arrange those supports.
As part of the application, you may upload a recent report card or teacher feedback instead of providing a teacher email, or you can set up a phone call with us instead! We are not concerned with grades. This information helps us understand how your child participates in group settings and ensures they are ready for a collaborative environment. If your child needs extra support, please let us know so we can work with you to help ensure they have a great experience and have the necessary supports in place to be successful in the class.

Teacher Recommendations
Teacher recommendations are only requested for children who are new to Genius Gems drop-off programs. This helps us get to know your child better and ensure a positive, respectful, and enriching experience for every participant. If we already know your child, no recommendation is needed. If you are not able to get a teacher survey or provide your teacher's email, please email us at information@geniusgems.com to set up a phone call!
Good News!
You only need to complete the application once per child. Once your child is accepted, you can register directly for any future drop-off programs, including classes, camps, date nights, and more, without reapplying. If you are a returning student or camper, please email us at information@geniusgems.com for the direct link.
The application is free, and once approved, you will receive a registration link for available programs. Registration is first-come, first-served, and spots are only secured after payment.
