Engineering and Maker (1st-3rd grade)

Calling all engineers and inventors! Learn about the intersection of art and engineering through a series of hands-on engineering projects. Engineers will learn about LEDs, circuitry, batteries, motors, and the exciting world of 3D printing. An art component is incorporated into many of the projects. New and continuing students are welcome; the projects will be different from the previous semester.

Engineering and Maker (2nd-4th Grade)

Engineers and inventors, welcome to the world of engineering, design and tinkering! This course is designed to introduce students into the engineering and design thinking process. Students will delve deeper into the world of 3D printing, LEDs, motors and CAD design. They will design their own motorized projects, and learn about 3D printing. New and continuing students are welcome; the projects will be different from the previous semester.

Engineering and Design with 3D Printing (4th-6th grade)

This engineering and 3D printing course will build upon the previous semester to help students delve deeper into the exciting world of 3D printing, engineering and design. Students will learn about CAD design  and the world of 3D printing. Students will design their own projects using 3D printed parts, motors, LEDs and other electronic components. Students will further strengthen their CAD design skills and can expect to 3D print new design projects in this class. The projects will be different from the previous semester. This course is open to returning and new students.
