For more than eight years, our small-group classes have been the heart of Genius Gems. Every class is hands-on: kids design, build, break and iterate with our own instructors. The topics change every semester, so a child can keep coming back and always learn something new.

How to join
Enrolling takes a few minutes online.
- Pick a class — Browse this semester's classes by location, grade and weekday.
- Try it first, or enroll — Book a single trial class, or enroll for the semester or pay per class.
- New students: a short recommendation — For a child's first Genius Gems class we ask for one short teacher recommendation. Once per child; future semesters skip this step.
- You're in — We confirm your child's spot and send everything you need before the first class.
Pricing
Each class is priced by its length and the number of weeks in the semester. The exact price is on every class card above, and you can pay for the whole semester or class by class.
Sales tax and a 3% card processing fee are added at checkout.
Cancellation policy
Full refund minus a 10% processing fee up to the early-cancel date. 50% refund up to the mid-cancel date. No refunds after that. Exact dates for this semester are published with the class policies.

Questions parents ask
Can we try a class first?
Yes, and it's the easiest way to start. Almost every class offers a one-off trial class at the trial price shown on its card. Booking one takes a minute: pick the class, tap Details & enroll and choose the trial. No application or teacher recommendation is needed to try a class.
What ages are the classes for?
Kindergarten through 6th grade, grouped into grade bands so the level fits. Millburn also runs a Pre-K and Kindergarten STEAM Lab.
How long is a semester?
Fall, winter and spring each run for a set number of weeks. The exact count and dates are on each class card and in the schedule chart.
Do lessons repeat semester to semester?
No. Class lessons change every semester, so kids can enroll every term and always learn something new.
Is a teacher recommendation always required?
Only for a child's first-ever Genius Gems class. Once we have one on file, future semesters skip this step.
What if my child misses a class?
Enrolled students can request one make-up in a comparable class that same semester, subject to space.
What's the cancellation policy?
Full refund minus 10% by the early-cancel date, 50% by the mid-cancel date, none after. Exact dates for this semester are in the class policies.
