Genius Gems Millburn Associate Position (Weekends and Select Weekdays)

Genius Gems, LLC (www.geniusgems.com) is a STEM-based experience for kids and adults in Millburn, NJ. We offer a fast-paced, exciting environment where employees can, if they choose, pursue additional opportunities that interest them, such as engineering and design, robotics and coding, social media, marketing or community events.

We are seeking enthusiastic Junior Associates to join our growing team of 20+ innovative professionals. We are seeking in-person leaders and teachers.

Genius Gems Millburn - Junior Associate Position

Lead (or co-lead) our weekend and/or weekday STEM experience.

Guide families through our general admission experience, creating building projects out of magnetic tiles, testing out our robots, making slime and more.

Assist with weekend birthday celebrations.

Gather materials and test out new project ideas.

Test out our robots and assist in reviewing new materials.

Learn how to use our 3D printers.

Tidy space and sanitize materials/prepare materials as needed.

Perform additional tasks as needed.

Resourcefulness & eagerness to learn.

Experience with block coding is useful but not required.

The most important quality in our team members is a positive attitude and an openness to learn new materials with adequate coaching and support.

Experience working with children is a plus.

Job type: part-time, on-site at 215 Millburn Ave., Millburn, NJ 07041

Transport: free on-site parking; about a 7 min. walk to Millburn train station; #70 NJ Transit bus stops right in front of our location.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Academic Credit: Interns only, upon request & with university permission.

Compensation: Yes, competitive and commensurate with experience.
